Partners courses

EUROCONTROL establishes partnerships to maximise the value of its training resources. Third parties can develop and deliver training courses that are hosted at the Institute in Luxembourg. Customers can also use training material developed by the Institute and deliver them using their own local instructor.Current partnerships:

  • Aviation Law for Managers (GEN-LAW)
  • Airside Safety (SAF-AIR)
  • Emergency Response Planning (SAF-ERP)
  • Critical Incident Stress Management (HUM-CISM)

The Aviation Law for Managers course is offered in collaboration with IATA

It will explore regulatory issues related to air navigation services, airport administration, airlines and civil aviation.

The course is delivered at the EUROCONTROL Training Institute in Luxembourg.

The Airside Safety and the Emergency Response Planning courses are offered in partnership with the Joint Aviation Authorities Training Office (JAATO).

The courses are delivered at the EUROCONTROL Training Institute in Luxembourg.

A charge is made by the JAA for attending the course (participants from EUROCONTROL Member States receive a 25% discount on the normal charge). The charge is mentioned on the JAA-TO website.

To benefit from the discount, registration shall not be made through JAA website (otherwise the discount will not apply).
Registration shall be requested by e-mail, phone or fax to JAA Training Manager with the following information:

  • Course title and dates
  • Participant’s full name, job title, e-mail address, birth date, work telephone number
  • Participant’s organisation full name and postal address
  • Invoice address
  • For those who need a letter of invitation: passport number, issue and expiry date, and birth place

Registration shall not be requested to EUROCONTROL.

The Critical Incident Stress Management course is offered in collaboration with DFS and follows the standards of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF).

A Critical Incident Stress Management Programme and the availability of CISM peers support air traffic services organisations and their employees in managing major and minor crisis situations, helping to safeguard the health of operational personnel and enabling it to resume its responsibilities and duties in air traffic services functions in a self-confident and concentrated manner.

The participants will get an international recognized ICISF certificate.
