EUR Deployment Policy
Eurocontrol accepted a request from ICAO Paris to coordinate the creation of the “European Implementation Plan” in which the overall deployment approach for the region is described.
In addition the software implementation planning of each EUR State is provided.

IFPS (CFMU) Deployment Policy
The IFPS system will be able to accept New content flight plans well in advance of 15 November 2012.
A translation function will be implemented to allow Aircraft Operators (AOs) and flight plan providers the opportunity to transition early while ensuring ANSPs receive the FPL in the format they require.
After 15 November, this translation function will provide a mitigation or contingency fallback for an ANSPs whose switch to New format has failed.
States receiving an IFPS service will have the ability to achieve an instantaneous switch from Old content to New content for IFR/GAT traffic without the need for a period of mixed reception.
