DDR Phase 2 - progressing towards a common reference for forecast traffic demand
The purpose of the DDR2 is to provide a harmonised and consistent set of traffic forecasts for the whole of the ECAC area, leading smoothly from the long term to forecasts a few hours before actual operations.
DDR2 is intended to provide support to operational planning, decision making and co-ordination between all actors of the aviation community.

Our mission and vision are: |

to proactively participate, along with other units and stakeholders in a network approach to ATM development; |
|
 |
to actualize operational improvements within the European airspace network through a rolling airspace and navigation work plan; and |
|
 |
our vision is to be the driver and main implementer of airspace network and navigational operational changes within the short-term (as key DMEAN contributor) and to provide airspace and navigation enablers both for SESAR and to the transition steps to SESAR. |

ARN Version 7 Concept of Operations & Catalogue of Projects |

The ARN Version-7 Catalogue is a snapshot of the airspace projects deployed over the period
2011-2014 and contains, at this stage, 470 (four hundred and seventy) improvement packages.
As from the full implementation of ARN Version-7 in 2014, flying distances would be reduced by approximately 12 million NMs, this representing the equivalent of 72000 tons of fuel saved, or reduced emissions of 240000 tons, or 60 million Euros. Updated information on the 2011-2014 projects can be accessed through the RNDSG/RDGE On-line Route Planning Database or the RNDSG OneSky Teams website. |

Flight Efficiency Plan |

The implementation of the improvements foreseen in the Flight Efficiency Plan is expected to bring benefits evaluated at 470.000 tons of fuel/year, 1.555.000 tons of CO2/year, corresponding to almost 390 million Euro/year. |
