Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) Reference Material

Overview

With the application of the Concept of the Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA), airspace should no longer be designated as either purely civil or military airspace, but rather considered as ONE CONTINUUM and allocated according to USER REQUIREMENTS. The FUA Concept provides Air Traffic Management (ATM) with the potential to increase the capacity of the air traffic system. The FUA Concept allows the maximum joint use of airspace through the appropriate civil/military co-ordination. The application of the FUA Concept also ensures, through the daily allocation of flexible airspace structures, that any necessary segregation of airspace is TEMPORARY, based on real usage within specified time period.

Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) Reference Material

FUA Reference Material has now been moved to the main library of the Airspace website.
