The third TOD Awareness Workshop will be held on the 29-30 September 2010 in Vilnius, Lithuania, kindly hosted by SE "Oro navigacija".
The Awareness Workshop is intended to attract those who are, as yet, not aware of the responsibilities they have with regards to TOD, including regulators, ANSPs, survey organisations and procedure designers.
The objective of the Awareness Workshop is to highlight the State's responsibilities with regard to TOD and aid those are tasked with commencing implementation.
The programme will cover the requirements and their origin, and the technical and institutional issues associated with TOD.

Digital NOTAM Workshop #6

On 19 & 20 October 2010 the 6th Digital NOTAM workshop entitled "Towards the Initial Operational Capability in 2012" will be organised. This workshop will take place at EUROCONTROL HQ in the EUROPA conference room. It will start on 19 October at 10h00, and end not later then 16h30 on 20 September.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together the various stakeholder groups involved in the development of the Digital NOTAM concept and in the preparation of the initial operational capability, foreseen for 2012 in both Europe and the United States. The following main points will be on the agenda:
- Presentation of the Digital NOTAM Event Specification
- EUROCONTROL steps towards implementation (EAD Digital NOTAM prototyping, SNOWTAM Trial continuation)
- FAA Digital NOTAM system deployment
- User expectations (service providers, airlines, etc.)
- Manufacturing industry presentations
- CFMU eAMI Pilot Project
- Digital Briefing
- Launch of the "event specification training" campaign
Furthermore this workshop will include again a small exhibition which will enable organisations/industry to demonstrate their products and projects related to digital NOTAM.
