Voice Read Back removal planned

In November 2012 we plan to remove the Voice Read back (VRB) message for DL all up-links
including both ATN and FANS.

CAUTION: For ATN aircraft (FANSB+), this requires correct updating of all FPL's with the correct 24-bit address in item 18 of the FPL!
ref. ICAO REGIONAL SUPPLEMENTARY PROCEDURES – DOC. 7030/5 (Serial No. EUR/NAT-S 08/1 – EUR) from 20 November 2008 does refer.

2.1.14.1 Flights planning to use CPDLC over the aeronautical telecommunications network (ATN) shall include in Item 18 of the flight plan the indicator CODE/ followed by the 24-bit aircraft address (expressed in alphanumerical code of six hexadecimal characters). Example: CODE/F00001.

Beside we are also checking oportunities for prifile changing messages for FANS1/A+ (PLUS) possibly by using the latency timer to the cockpit for 2013.

Plain old FANS 1/A aircraft will cease to receive certain profile changing uplinks according saftey case requirements and to keep after the removal of VRB the procedures 100% homogeneous for all involved.
